Disseminating the concept and Utilization of Big Data

Last week, the Head of BPS Kota Bukittinggi had the opportunity to attend to meet RRI's invitation as a resource person to explain about Big data. On this occasion, the Head of BPS Kota Bukittingi explained the concept, role and benefits of big data. He said that big data has a very important role today. However, unfortunately the availability and data collection process is still a bit difficult. The cooperation of many parties is needed to ensure the availability of this data. BPS itself in collecting data has tried to synchronize with big data so far. However, the percentage is still minimal because of the lack of availability. It is hoped that, with the formation of one data later, access to big data will be even greater and beneficial to all stakeholders.
