Indepth Study of the 2020 Corn Conversion Survey

The background of this activity is the need for data on the conversion of wet / dry harvested corn cobs without skin and stalks to dry shelled corn that is accurate and up to date, in order to improve corn production data. The increasing maize productivity rate is one of the reasons for conducting an independent study of the corn conversion survey to find out whether the conversion rate used is still relevant today. This survey is expected to be an input for BPS to improve the accuracy of corn production data. The instruments used for this activity were: Corn Conversion Survey Questionnaire (SKJG20) and Moisture Meters (used to measure the moisture content of maize). The Indepth Study was carried out in Subround 3 2020 (September to December 2020) and Subround 1 2021 (January to April 2021) in 33 provinces in Indonesia.Nationally, the target sample is 1,429 samples. For West Sumatra, the target sample is 38 samples.
