The impact of the Covid19 pandemic has had an impact on changes in the activities of all groups. For some circles, there is a positive impact, others have a negative impact, but also have a positive and negative impact.
Some time ago, BPS Kota Bukittinggi received the arrival of Statistic Polytechnic (STIS) students who did internships in the form of field practice in the form of surveys of BPS employees, including BPS Kota Bukittinggi. Supposedly, these students did an internship at the BPS Head Office, but with the Covid19 Pandemic, these students did an internship by compiling a survey starting from the preparation stage to the later data interpretation stage. Data collection is carried out at the local BPS office according to their respective domiciles
According to the students, they felt very useful in this type of internship. They get a true picture of how the world of work at BPS will be. With the implementation of an internship like this they will understand and it is no longer awkward if they later graduate and are placed in any BPS
