Every month, BPS carries out its duties to collect data on commodity prices, both food and non-food, which are contained in the SHK commodity basket.
And shoes, are one of the many commodities whose prices are routinely monitored. The shoe commodity is included in the clothing and footwear group.
In January 2021 there was an increase in prices by 0.14 percent in this group, however in February 2021 prices tend to be stable.
The picture above is not only about shoes, but more broadly depicts BPS activities in the context of enumerating and monitoring the Consumer Price Survey to produce quality data.
