The increasing workload in the era of bureaucratic reform leaves its own challenges in terms of human resource development. The achievement of agency targets is increasing, so that organizational capabilities and supervision are also required to increase. The biggest influence lies in the ability of human resources, apart from the establishment of supporting facilities and infrastructure.

The main thing to do is to establish a positive work culture. Coaching is carried out in the Employee Integrity program. Every morning apple and employee meeting, leaders must convey the vision, mission, and core values of BPS people. Likewise, in every training opportunity for census or survey officers, the Head of BPS always conveys the duties of officers and gives encouragement, especially for BPS partner officers.

Spiritual formation is also always encouraged. Every Monday morning Tadarus of the Quran is held for Muslim employees and is interspersed with recitation lectures.

The basic competencies of employees are also always improved. BPS Bukittinggi provides opportunities for employees to share knowledge or gain new knowledge through knowledge sharing programs in employee meetings or special meetings.
