As we know, consumption patterns are an indicator of people's welfare. Households/families tend to be more prosperous if the percentage of expenditure on food is much smaller than the percentage of expenditure on non-food.

Non-food expenditure in 2020 decreased compared to 2019, and conversely food expenditure in 2020 increased compared to 2019. This change in public expenditure was none other than caused by the pandemic.
