One of the certain functional positions that are fostered by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is the Computer Institution functional institution. The Functional Position of Computer Institutions is domiciled as the functional technical executor of the implementation of computer-based information system activities within government agencies. This functional consists of 2 levels of positions, namely Skilled Computer Institutions and Expert Computer Institutions. Each job class has 4 job classes. Skilled Computer Institutions consist of junior executives, executives, advanced executives and supervisors. Meanwhile, the level of Expert positions consists of First, Junior, Intermediate and Main positions. The Main Computer Administration Functional Position is the highest level. Every civil servant has the opportunity to occupy this functional position, but employees with a linear educational background will get a higher credit score. Civil servants with educational backgrounds that are not aligned must first receive relevant training and take a competency test.
