APM stands for Pure Participation Rate, and GER is Gross Participation Rate.

The NER aims to see how many people attend school on time, or show how many people attend school at an age that is in accordance with the provisions of the school age group at the level of education being pursued. If all school-age children can attend school on time, the NER will reach 100 percent.

While the APK aims to see how much capacity the education system can accommodate students from certain school age groups. The GER value can be more than 100 percent because the population of students attending a certain level of education includes children outside the school age limit at that level of education.

So what about the City of Bukittinggi?
