In 2021, 95.3 percent of the population of Bukittinggi aged 5 years and over used a cellular phone/computer in the last 3 months (before March 2021), and 80.5 percent of the population aged five years and over in Bukittinggi City had accessed the internet within 3 months. last (before March 2021). This is an increase from the previous year which was only 73.84 percent. This is one of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic which requires everything to switch from an offline system to an online system, both in the world of work and in education.
