Bukittinggi City Consumer Price Index February 2022

The city of Bukittinggi is one of the two cities that produce the Consumer Price Index (CPI) Indicator in the Province of West Sumatra.

In contrast to the previous month, in February 2022 the City of Bukittinggi experienced a deflation of 0.09 percent with a Consumer Price Index of 107.50.

Deflation occurred due to a decline in prices for the expenditure group for food, beverages and tobacco, which contributed to a relatively large share of -0.26 percent. This decrease is not comparable with the increase in prices in other expenditure groups.
