Hello #Friends of Data. In 2023, the BPS will hold the seventh Agricultural Census (ST2023). The Agricultural Census was carried out for the first time in 1963, and then every ten years in the year ending in 3.

President Soekarno's mandate in the 1963 Agricultural Census emphasized the importance of in-depth and detailed understanding and knowledge of the structure of Indonesia's agriculture, because in the midst of hard efforts towards industrialization at that time, the agricultural sector remained one of the most important elements in Indonesia's economic life.

Statistical figures collected through the Agricultural Census, which describe various aspects of national agriculture are very important in determining policy in the agricultural sector.
