Good morning # SahabatData ...Average per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members during the last month and year divided by the number of family members adjusted for purchasing power parity. In BPS, household expenditures are divided into food and non-food groups. As stated above, each of these expenditure groups is divided into 3 expenditure groups, namely the Bottom 40%, Middle 40%, and Top 20%. So, this expenditure pattern can be used as a tool to measure the level of welfare of the population, where changes in its composition are used as indicators of changes in the level of welfare.
