With the enactment of new regulations related to Sales Tax on Luxury Goods (PPnBM) as of March 2021, car prices also contracted. This 0 percent PPnBM discount uses a government-borne scheme (DTP). Based on the monthly inflation indicator for the City of Bukittinggi, in March 2021 there is a decrease in the Consumer Price Index in the Transportation group by 0.26 percent. The dominant commodity affecting this decline was cars. The price of cars this month has decreased, as a form of the implementation of the 0 percent PPnBM subsidy regulation.
